The journey began when the company’s founder started working in construction at just 12 years old, learning the trade from his uncles during the summer months. His passion for construction remained strong into adulthood, but life took him on a detour when he had the opportunity to work on the railroad. For eight years, he balanced his railroad career while growing his family with his wife.
However, when faced with a layoff in 2017, he turned back to what he knew best—construction. Though he returned to the railroad for a brief period, another layoff in 2019 solidified the family’s decision to dedicate themselves fully to the construction industry. They haven’t looked back since, staying true to their motto: Old-fashioned values with a modern touch.
